Hi, I am Dr. Trista Weimer, physical therapist and a life-long learner passionate about orthopaedic and women’s health physical therapy. Born and raised in Indiana, I attended Purdue University for my undergraduate education and then headed to the East coast to complete my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut in 2011. I initially began working as an orthopedic physical therapist with special interests in runners and post-operative rehabilitation. I later became board-certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. After experiencing pregnancy and birthing 2 children, I recognized and understood the need for women’s health physical therapy. I pursued further training and education specializing in pelvic health and obstetrical physical therapy, allowing me to address the specific needs of women’s health. I enjoy using my background in orthopedics to help inform the care my patients with pelvic health problems, and vice versa.
Why Enrich Motion?
For years, I felt tied down to my job due to student loans. Fast forward to 2023, school loans were paid off and I finally reached a point in my life where I thought, “I can do what I want in my career! What do I truly want to do?” My priority has always been the patient. I want to spend time truly listening to my patients, support them, provide outstanding care and help people move, feel better, and do what they love! The traditional outpatient setting continues to make this more difficult with insurance re-imbursement rates declining, treating multiple patients at once, and encouraging charging specific treatment codes. By becoming my own boss and being an out-of-network provider, I can truly treat patients and provide them with the care they deserve! And so, Enrich Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness began!
I am married to my college sweetheart, and we followed each other around the states completing our graduate degrees and working, eventually landing back in Indiana where we started our family. We now have a daughter and son that keep us entertained and busy with after-school activities. In 2023, my family and I set out on an adventure, and moved to Las Vegas, NV.
I love spending time with my family, traveling, playing board games, and participating in numerous outdoor activities including running, biking, hiking, tennis, rollerblading, and alpine skiing.
By prioritizing patient goals and continuously updating my knowledge with the latest research, I ensure that my treatments are comprehensive and effective. I commit to listening, supporting, and assisting patients in achieving their goals!
