Hi, I am Dr. Trista Weimer, physical therapist and a life-long learner passionate about orthopedic and women’s health physical therapy. Born and raised in Indiana, I attended Purdue University for my undergraduate education and then headed to the East coast to complete my Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut in 2011.
I initially began working as an orthopedic physical therapist with special interests in runners and post-operative rehabilitation. I later joined the 6% of physical therapists who have become board-certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. After experiencing pregnancy and birthing 2 children, I recognized and understood the need for women’s health physical therapy. I pursued further training and education specializing in pelvic health and obstetrical physical therapy, including becoming certified as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist, allowing me to address the specific needs of women’s health. I enjoy applying my orthopedic skills and knowledge to help treat my pelvic health patients, and vice versa.
Why Enrich Motion?
For years, I felt tied down to my job because of student loans. Fast forward to 2023, and with my loans finally paid off, I reached a turning point: "What do I truly want to do in my career?"
My unwavering priority has always been the patient. I believe that patients deserve to be heard, supported, and receive exceptional care. However, the traditional outpatient setting makes this increasingly challenging with declining insurance reimbursement rates, the pressure to treat multiple patients simultaneously, and the push to charge for specific treatment codes. Determined to make a change, I decided to become my own boss and provide out-of-network services. By doing so, I can focus entirely on helping patients recover faster and offering the care they truly deserve. Thus, Enrich Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness was born! Join me on this journey toward better health and wellness, where your needs are our top priority.
I’m married to my college sweetheart, and our journey together has been nothing short of an adventure. We followed each other across the country, earning our graduate degrees and working in different states, until we finally settled back in Indiana to start our family. Our daughter and son fill our lives with boundless joy and laughter, keeping us endlessly entertained.
In 2023, we embarked on a new chapter in our lives, moving to Las Vegas, NV. When I’m not spending quality time with my family, I’m exploring new destinations, enjoying board games, and embracing a variety of outdoor activities. Whether it’s running, biking, hiking, tennis, pickleball, rollerblading, or alpine skiing, I’m always up for an adventure.
By prioritizing patient goals and continuously updating my knowledge with the latest research, I ensure that my treatments are comprehensive and effective. I commit to listening, supporting, and assisting patients in achieving their goals!
