Hi, I’m Dr. Trista Weimer, a physical therapist and lifelong learner passionate about orthopedic and women’s health physical therapy.
Born and raised in Indiana, I attended Purdue University for my undergraduate education and earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut in 2011.
I began my career in orthopedic physical therapy, with special interests in runners and post-operative rehabilitation, and later joined the 6% of physical therapists who are board-certified as Clinical Specialists in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy.
After experiencing pregnancy and birthing two children, I recognized the deep need for women’s health physical therapy. I pursued advanced training in pelvic health and obstetrical physical therapy—including certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist—to better support the unique needs of women.
I’ve also completed pelvic health coursework through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and I’m on track to earn my CAPP-PF certification in November—a distinction that reflects specialized expertise in pelvic floor physical therapy.
I love integrating my orthopedic background into pelvic health care, and vice versa, to provide truly comprehensive, personalized treatment.
Why Enrich Motion?
For years, I felt tied down to my job because of student loans. Fast forward to 2023—my loans were finally paid off, and I reached a turning point: What do I truly want to do in my career?
My unwavering priority has always been the patient. I believe people deserve to be heard, supported, and receive exceptional care. But in the traditional outpatient setting, that’s become increasingly difficult—declining insurance reimbursement rates, pressure to treat multiple patients at once, and the push to bill specific treatment codes all get in the way of meaningful care.
Determined to make a change, I became my own boss and chose to offer out-of-network services. This allows me to focus entirely on helping patients recover faster and receive the care they truly deserve. And so, Enrich Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness was born. Join me on this journey toward better health and wellness—where your needs are my top priority.
I’m married to my college sweetheart, and our journey together has been nothing short of an adventure. We followed each other across the country—earning our graduate degrees and working in different states—until we settled back in Indiana to start our family. Our daughter and son fill our lives with boundless joy and laughter, keeping us endlessly entertained.
In 2023, we embarked on a new chapter and moved to Las Vegas, NV! When I’m not spending quality time with my family, I’m exploring new destinations, playing board games, or embracing outdoor activities like running, biking, hiking, tennis, pickleball, rollerblading, and alpine skiing. I’m always up for an adventure.
By prioritizing patient goals and continuously updating my knowledge with the latest research, I ensure that my treatments are comprehensive and effective. I commit to listening, supporting, and assisting patients in achieving their goals!
